CAFÉ APUZZO IS PLEASED TO PARTNER WITH THE TOLIMA SUAVE ORGANIZATION.
It is our goal to strengthen the vision of the Tolima Suave group by obtaining “Women’s hands” certification. A certificate like this is intended to establish social standards in a number of different sectors, such as agriculture and crafts. Ensures the implementation of rules and practices that promote gender equality in productive systems. In this way, women can be recognized in work environments where previously only men worked.

Strengthen and empower quality, productivity, and business training.
A total of 21 women from the Tolima Suave organization will be supported through the project. Their lifestyles are changing as a result. After experiencing years of violence during the armed conflict and they were under the leadership of men. Nevertheless, they made the first move a few years ago, new opportunities were being opened as a result. Coffee plants were planted on new land acquired by them, enhancing productivity and focusing on quality for the purpose of accessing international markets that support women.
